Have you ever thought to yourself, I can’t reach out for that collaboration now, I don’t have __________ (a big enough audience, enough experience, enough to offer in return)?
Or maybe you’ve thought, I can’t launch that course, I can’t raise my prices. No one will think what I do is that valuable!
I’ve been reading more Brene Brown lately (10/10 would recommend reading her books on constant rotation) and she talks a lot about showing up in the world from a place of worthiness and self-acceptance. Not just in your personal life, but your professional life too.
Everyone starts somewhere. No one comes from a place of complete and total knowledge and experience. Even your favorite course creators / graphic designers / authors.
One lesson I’ve learned in my entrepreneurial journey right now is:
I don’t have to have all the answers. I just have to do the work. Doing my best does not mean perfection.
Which is why I decided to tackle my big scary thing: Creating a free training series about how to make your website more profitable.
Why is that scary to me? Well…what if no one registers? What if I’m just talking into the dark? I’ve never done an email training series before! What if what I create isn’t ______________ (good enough, well attended, written well, etc). These thoughts go through my mind too!
But I decided I was just going to do it. Show up and do my best. Why? Because I seriously love what I do. I get to work with passionate entrepreneurs who are following their gut and doing what excites them every day. Doesn’t that just give you the goosebumps? I’d like to hear from you. What is that big scary thing you’ve thought about doing? How can you show up from a place of worthiness and get it done?
